Nakia leverages her extensive experience across diverse sectors to drive strategy, growth, and operational planning as CEO for portfolio companies. Her distinguished background includes serving as a Maryland State Governor-appointed Review Board Member with the Maryland Department of Human Resources and the Citizens Review Board for Children. She holds an MBA from the Forbes School of Business and Technology at the University of Arizona Global Campus and a B.A. in Russian Language and Literature, with a minor in Business Administration, from the University of Maryland, College Park.

MAYI NGWALA

Managing Partner

With extensive experience in accounting and finance, Mayi is responsible for the brand’s financial operations. He serves as CFO for portfolio companies, and has previously held pivotal roles, including divisional controller for a prominent corporate entertainment and real estate firm. Mayi has also provided investment banking consultancy to private entities in Asia and an Asian central bank. He earned his degree in Accounting from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, College Park, and holds an MBA and a Master of Science in Accounting from Champlain College.
